Art for Us! event day for students at the Ateneum Art Museum is organisedagain in April. During the day, you can watch how the Helsinki Soundpainting Ensemble transforms paintings into music, make portraits on a face cut-out screen and listen to the curators of the Treasures of the Palace exhibition talk about the exhibition presenting the art collection of the Presidential Palace. Free admission to Ateneum with the student card throughout the day.
Art for Us! event day, now organisedfor the sixth time, is brought to you in cooperation with HOK-Elanto, Helsingin Sanomat, Student Union of the University of Helsinki and Lyyra.

The exhibition curators Sointu Fritze and Erkki Anttonen tell about the Treasures of the Palace exhibition (in Finnish).
16–17 Helsinki Soundpainting Ensemble transforms paintings into music
The musicians of the band improvise on the artworks of the Treasures of the Palace exhibition in the main gallery of Ateneum. The musicians, who use soundpainting sign language as their composition tool, are well-known for their spectacular improvisational skills, versatility and positive energy.
